Walking the Path of Love

We all ones in a life walk the path of love. A heart that never tasted its flavour yearns to explore this road. I have written a poem “A Lonely Road to Love”, in my book “Thousand Words In Million Silent Ways”, which deciphers love in different ways. “A Lonely Road to Love” is an opening poem in this book. It’s about the lovers who are sauntering through the road that never ends, accidently meet a night which though hungry was waiting eagerly for them. Stars on the other hand are ready to welcome them.  Moon rays, kissing them. Moments that defines the life of lovers, are usually filled with sorrows and grief. Now the beloved asked her lover not to delay anymore. As her heart is crying, yearning. Move forward she tells him, for they are on to solving the tales of love mysterious and magical. Enough had they led their lives in confinement, and this loneliness has devoid them of their strength. She assertively asks him to discard the heaviness he carries inside. She held his hand; they walked through the road made of concrete, the wet road. The footpaths crushed by the people are looking towards them. Look at the loneliness decorated with fur, progressing towards the sky. There street lamps resting peacefully in the west and sun in east is guiding their journey. She requested him to move forward step by step for there is a plant of love blooming far at the wet road, dreamy and endless. It looks as unbelievable as there is no end.

Sharing few lines from poem – (Full poem in book)

“Heart pining and whimpering
Mysterious tales, yet to expound……………….
Gazing us trodden footpaths
Loneliness coiled, drifting skywards………….”

Well, it’s so true the road to love at times can be lonely but this road never ends. There can be turns but you always arrive at a point and from there you see another road in continuation.
Walk the path of love before life ends…………
